Why I Believe in Signs?

Some people may think believing things like the universe and horoscopes are a trend that everyone are following to fit in but I’d say those people just don’t pay attention and that’s only a disaster waiting to happen. Imagine if we didn’t have stop lights, traffic signs/signals, street names, etc. Wouldn’t we be lost, with no direction? Just an accident ready to happen. Signs are everywhere and it’s up to us to follow them.

I always enjoyed reading horoscopes and finding the similarity in what was being said and what I was actually feeling/what was going on around me. For the most part, I’d say 95% of the time it was always right. Most would say it was a coincidence but I believe it was a sign, it was just up to me to figure out what it meant.

Today’s Horoscope: (Taurus) I’ll choose two

FEB 3, 2019: There is a lot to be said for being hopeful and having a positive attitude, but you must balance your sanguinity with caution today. If you let yourself get too caught up in your fantasy life, you will miss out on some important information that pertains to your real life. So temper your optimism with a healthy dose of realism, and you won’t be disappointed. This is not a time to take major risks — there is too much instability in the air.

Now this one may have pertained to me a few days ago and it can actually serve as a reminder not to get so overwhelmed with the fantasy life I want to live and focus on the now. I can be missing out on what’s in front of me because I’m in my head constantly trying to figure out how to live my dream life.

Feb 3, 2019 – Have you been thinking about attending a seminar of some kind, Taurus, perhaps business related? You and a partner might go together. This is a good time to do this, as your thinking is particularly clear and retentive and you find it easier than usual to concentrate. Discussions with your partner afterward could be the icing on the cake. Tomorrow you will feel like you can take the world by storm.

This one, I can’t relate, especially because I don’t have a partner. So yes, this is an example that some horoscopes can be straight bullshit at times.

But I want to talk more about signs from the universe because those I believe in 100% whether you do or not. A lot of what the universe provides us are the things we’ve been manifesting, which is why it’s always important to think positive thoughts because you don’t want the universe to give you something you don’t want or need.

There have been times I’ve found myself in situations I didn’t want to be in and in my head I would pray and ask for signs all the way up until the moment was supposed to come and out of nowhere (well not really no where) something would come up, which would stop me from getting into some shit that would ruin my life.

With my love life, I always received signs or got that gut feeling that told me something wasn’t going right and it was time to confront it and move on.

Especially recently when it came to finding a job I knew that it was the universe saying this is the right job for you. I was getting so discouraged, thinking that maybe I just wasn’t qualified for all the positions I was applying to but I also took it as I sign that maybe I need to be focusing on my writing and blogging. The time was coming that my unemployment was going to be ending and I was no longer being paid to take care of my grandmother. I was stressed but also thought this is going to give me the time I need to focus on my business. But, then I had a video interview for a job I thought completely forgot about me and now a week later (tomorrow) I’ll be starting. The universe will does work in crazy ways but it ends up giving me what I need.

My signs usually come in the form of messages (emails, text or calls) but you may receive yours in the following ways:

  • Repeating Numbers 11:11 etc
  • Songs
  • Smells
  • Feelings – gut feelings are legit and I choose to follow them. We know ourselves and we know when something doesn’t feel right.
  • Repeating events: something in your life keeps happening over and over. Take it as a sign.
  • Deja vu

And those are just to name a few but it’s up to you to decide what to do with them.

Do you believe in signs?

One response to “Why I Believe in Signs?”

  1. I do believe in signs. Like you, not necessarily all signs but I do believe that we see things when we need to. Sure you can chalk it up to coincidence if you are feeling really alone and depressed and just happen to see a typography on social media talking about “don’t feel alone, everyone is fighting a battle” or something along those lines. But I like to believe it’s something intervening and saying, dude, you needed this whether it’s something to cheer you up or a knock down you needed to see to realize why your guts have been feeling like they’re wrestling. I hope that makes sense? Like you said, I don’t in all horoscopes. But every so often you see something and you’re like “Oh damn.” And it happens enough that I don’t personally believe that you can just chalk it up to coincidence.
